Collection: Graco Airless Spray Tips & Sprayer Parts

Genuine Graco RAC X SwitchTips, fine-finish tips and tip guards, stocked by an authorized Graco dealer in Markham. When a tip wears out mid-job, you need the right part number the same day — not a week of shipping. Every tip below lists its exact size code so you can match what is already on your gun.

What we stock

  • RAC X LP SwitchTips — ten low-pressure sizes (LP 217, LP 313, LP 315, LP 317, LP 415 and more) for less overspray and easier pattern overlap.
  • RAC X FF LP fine-finish tips — thirteen sizes (FFLP 110 through FFLP 214) for cabinets, trim and fine-finish work at up to 50% lower pressure.
  • RAC X LTX SwitchTips — six sizes (LTX 211, 213, 215, 311, 409 and more) for narrow surfaces and thinner materials.
  • RAC X HandTite Tip Guard (246215) — the guard that holds the SwitchTip and reduces build-up, dripping and spitting.

Frequently asked questions

What do the numbers on a Graco SwitchTip mean?

The three-digit code tells you two things. Double the first digit to get the approximate fan width in inches, measured 12 inches from the surface. The last two digits are the orifice size in thousandths of an inch. A 515 tip sprays roughly a 10-inch fan through a 0.015-inch orifice.

How do I choose the right tip size?

Match the orifice to the thickness of your material. Thin materials such as stains and lacquers generally call for a smaller orifice, around 0.009 to 0.013. Latex wall paints and heavier coatings usually need 0.015 to 0.021. Then pick a fan width that suits the surface — narrow fans for trim and railings, wider fans for walls and ceilings.

What is the difference between LP and FFLP tips?

Both are low-pressure designs. LP tips are general-purpose and cover most wall and exterior work. FFLP tips are built for fine finishing — cabinets, doors and trim — where an even, tight pattern matters more than coverage speed.

How often should a spray tip be replaced?

A tip is worn when the fan pattern narrows, the edges get heavy, or you find yourself raising the pressure to get the same output. Abrasive coatings such as elastomerics and block fillers wear tips considerably faster than standard latex. Spraying with a worn tip wastes material and puts extra load on the pump.

Will these tips fit my sprayer?

RAC X SwitchTips fit Graco airless sprayers fitted with a RAC X guard, which covers most current Graco models. If you are unsure which guard is on your gun, bring it in or call us with your sprayer's model number and we will confirm before you buy.

Do I need a tip guard as well as a tip?

Yes. The SwitchTip seats inside the guard, and the guard is what makes safe high-pressure spraying possible. If your existing guard is damaged or the seal no longer holds, replace it at the same time as the tip.
